The YouTube AI Chat Assistant Chrome extension (“the Extension”) enables users to interactively ask questions about YouTube videos and receive AI-generated answers based solely on the video’s publicly available content.

1. Authentication Information
The Extension may process authentication tokens (JWT) for logged-in users.
- Used only to authenticate requests to the backend service
- Passwords, PINs, or security questions are not collected or stored
2. Website Content (YouTube Only)
The Extension processes limited, publicly available content from YouTube video pages, including:
- YouTube video identifiers
- Video transcripts (when available)
- Video metadata such as title and channel name
This information is used exclusively to generate AI-powered responses related to the video.
Information We Do NOT Collect
The Extension does not collect or process:
- Personally identifiable information (name, email, address, age)
- Financial or payment information
- Health or medical information
- Location data (GPS, IP address, or region)
